Nice to meet you!

RAINY DAY is a multidisciplinary graphic designer that focuses on identity and visual design for entrepreneurs, artists and those working in the cultural sector.

Focussing on poster design, content creation and illustration, but with experience in 3D, motion design and (audio-)visual campaign strategies he could be described as a jack-of-all-trades.

Values & Work Ethic

Communication and flexibility.

Something, something half the work. Being nice and a good communicator is very important as a means to solving your problem. Being able to listen to each other, makes it easier for me to present and create a solution for your project.

I love to think along with you about your project, not just to see how we go from A to B, but to look further and beyond, investigating any additional paths we could take that you haven’t thought of before.

Not me, us!

Only you know your product and/or service the best, and only by asking the right questions and doing proper research I’ll understand what it means to visually translate it. This is why I always like to do an interview to get to know each other and gather all the information I need.

From then on, I’ll work closely together with you, to make sure you’re involved in the creative process and have your own say in plenty of matters.

No cliché’s.

Great graphic design shouldn’t be dependant on common sense, but rather a product of well executed research and a complete exploration of possibilities.

Cliché’s are easy to understand and to create, so they often come quickly to mind during the foundational research on your project. This is why I prefer to avoid them, as they don’t lead to an unique solution to design. Bespoke solutions are always the answer, and it’s definitely what your project deserves.
