DUEFUNK - ‘Lost Girls’
Living in a metropole can be dissociative and intoxicating for young people. It's the underlying theme of DUEFUNK's new EP 'Lost Girls' — a psych/funk rock album from the young New York based 3-piece. Their new album is a romantised ode to youthful recklessness in an unescapable chaos, filled with catchy hooks and lyrics with a dark edge. The artwork represents the confusion of inhabiting a two-faced city that's always breathing and living. The black and white illustration is an image of a metro depot, part the city's nervous system, distorted, repetitive and detached from reality.
